Automotive:

16+ years as a manufacturing engineer at New Process Gear (NPG) in East Syracuse NY.

NPG was a tier 1 supplier of transfer case and transaxle assemblies. During my employment, which ended with plant closure in 2012, it was owned and operated successively by; New Venture Gear (joint venture of Chrysler and GM), Chrysler and Magna Powertrain.

Experienced in component machining, final assembly and testing of part time and active transfer cases. Testing included final function with NVH analysis.

Rail Transportation:

9+ years as a product engineering test engineer and manufacturing process engineer at New York Air Brake (NYAB) in Watertown NY.

NYAB supplied rail transport brake systems for the mass transit and freight markets.

Industrial Pump:

1+ years as a co-op student at Goulds Pumps – Engineered Products Division in Seneca Falls NY.

Experience in quality assurance, R&D test laboratory and engineering analysis group including impeller flow field analysis.
